Soon on vacation Welcome to St. James Club

Postby NICK ADSL UK » Tue Sep 11, 2007 12:19 am

Hi friends :)
After many months of being ill with kidney stones I'm happy to say that I'm now clear . It has been a nightmare i can tell you and has left me feeling very tired. I could do with a break so will be going on a one week trip on the 22nd of September to Antigua with my son James. I hope it will do the trick in putting behind me these past months of this nightmare with kidney stones and come back refreshed. I hope you are all well and have had a good summer :)

Hi Nick,

Sorry to hear you have been unwell and glad that you are now clear of the problem!

Also taking myself and the wife off for a break next week in Sowdonia where we will be making our second ascent of Snowdon using the Ranger Path. You may laugh, but when one of the party is very afraid of heights, it is a real challenge to them!! Also the area gives an added advantage in that I can hide from Mobile Phone signals while we are up there, so only make calls when I want. I will of course be truthful and tell the Customers that I had my phone with me and it was switched on. ;)

You rest yourself (which looks a reasonably easy thing to achieve looking at the site), have a nice time and come back refreshed.

And of course - Thank you for your continued support in posting the updates etc.

Tee-Hee! - Which sounds more exciting - Sowdonia or SNowdonia. Whichever it is - we are going there!

Thanks Nick. We will have a good time - first proper break for nearly a year, so going to make the most of it. (Also our 30th Wedding Anniversary - which reminds me, MUST get a card!!)

Hi Nick

Having had a friend who suffered with kidney stones I understand that it can be very painful - glad to see that you are now clear and able to take a break. Hope you stay clear of hurricanes 8)

Obviously I echo Colin's comments about your posting all the software info here - I recently renewed domain name and hosting so site is unaffected by my move away from Pipex.

Yes it is not the best time to go but my daughter cant get any time off from her school as she has many exams to do this coming year that and the doubling of the costs if you go in the official school break would make it impossible to go anywhere i feel. My wife therefor has to stay at home so that just leaves my youngest son James.

Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery Nick. Enjoy your holiday, I hear the pace of life over there is a wee tad slower than here but the island is beautiful.

Take care.

Well were back A bit burnt James and i had a good time at the st Jame's club which was perfect a very typically Caribbean setting. We even swam with over 100 stingray's in which i managed to catch one in my arms such was the friendliness of these creatures
Will post that photo and hopefully others in the course of the next week :D

Nice pictures!

FYI, Sharon conquered Snowdon, but wasn't that happy at the very top! (Must admit it was a bit windy  ). Also met with my Nephew where the Llanberis path meets the Snowdon Ranger path. Not bad considering that we didn't know either of us were up there!!

Got a nice coating of Rust also, amply compensated for by the BBQ'd Sirloin Steak and Champagne we had on the night of our anniversary! (Cooked by me outside the tent :D )
